Puntland Electoral Commission Announces Voter Registration

Garowe, PUNTLAND – In a pivotal step toward democratic elections, the Puntland Electoral Commission (PEC) held a crucial meeting with political parties at its headquarters today. Fuad Adeer, Chairman of the Puntland Electoral Commission, presided over the gathering, which saw the participation of key figures from the electoral body and leaders of Puntland’s political parties.

Voter Registration Date Announced

A significant announcement was made during the meeting: the reopening of voter registration, set for December 16th. “We’re reopening voter registration on December 16th. This is an opportunity for every eligible citizen who hasn’t registered to do so,” Chairman Fuad Adeer declared.
