JOWHAR, HIRSHABELLE — In a significant political reshuffle, Ali Jeyte Osman, the Governor of Hiran, was relieved of his duties as per a decree issued by the office of the President of HirShabelle. The removal decree, which was dated 16 June 2023 and referenced DHSH/XM/00133/23, bore the signature of HirShabelle President, Ali Gudlawe. The decree, published late last night, announced Abdullahi Ahmed Moalim (Surufow) as the new Governor of Hiran.
